You have begun! The first step to beginning spiritual formation is recognizing the need you have to begin or continue growing in your spiritual life. No matter where you are in circumstance, age or state in life-- God has a plan for you which always includes you growing deeper into union with Him through Christ His Son, in power of the Holy Spirit, led and encouraged by Our Lady and her life.

How and Where Am I Formed?
Formation is a gift—you are free to accept or decline. It is a decision which requires effort, study and openness to change. Formation will take place within your life, not apart from it. You will experience formation daily, in the course of your life; not just at Mass, on retreats or at conferences. Each day through the circumstances, surroundings and people in your life God Himself is the Formator. You merely need to remain open and cooperate with Him.

Tell Me About the Materials…
The materials SOLT offers for formation are free to all peoples everywhere via this website. Fiat! Called to Holiness, the first year (of three years of formation, program) is currently posted. The following two years are in production. If you prefer to have printed materials and DVD’s these can be ordered from the Materials Section of the website.

Tell Me How to Use the Website…
To get the most out of the free materials offered on ourladylovesyou.org we suggest the following:

• Go to the Homepage and under the Program Tab go to Year I: God the Father and Our Lady’s Life. [Begin with Teaching 1 – Purpose and Meaning of Life.]
• Now you may choose to go to the Video Tab of the website and click on the appropriate teaching. You will want to watch each teaching video at the outset of each new formation topic. You should plan to watch the videos and complete the subsequent printed materials in the order they are listed, since one teaching builds upon and moves into the next. Please view the video all the way through before proceeding to the printed materials, or if you prefer, you may read the transcript provided on the homepage of each formation topic.
• Next, go to the Facilitators Tab and download the printed materials from the web. You will see that for each topic there are two guided teachings, handouts, and a third teaching which is a meditation for a Holy Hour. We recommend downloading all three documents for each teaching each month as you need them, since this will help you get the very most out of each teaching. You might as well, after all, they are free!

Formation Within a Small Christian Community…
If you are part of a small Christian community, prayer group, or a Parish looking for a Formation Program, formation is best accomplished within a community that meets regularly. Each group needs at least one facilitator to lead each week and a coordinator to help with location and attendees. It is recommended that you cover one of each of the 10 Topics each month for ten months. Suggested meeting time is 90 minutes. The recommended format is as follows:

• Week One: Opening Prayer. Watch the teaching DVD as a group or have someone present the teaching taking from the provided transcript and outline. Provide 30 minutes of fellowship.
• Weeks Two and Three: Use Facilitator scripts as needed to go deeper into the teaching and have group discussions. Provide 30 minutes of fellowship.
• Week Four: Holy Hour with short reading and meditation. Group meets before Our Lord in the tabernacle or for a Holy Hour of Eucharistic Adoration. Provide 30 minutes of fellowship.

Formation As an Individual…
If you are not able to begin with a group, there is no reason for delay! You can begin on your own, one of two ways:

• First, you can follow the directions above for small Christian communities on your own utilizing the website.
• Or, if you prefer, a new book “Fiat! A Spiritual Formation Program” designed for the individual seeking formation will be available by the end of May 2010. See the Materials Section of the website for ordering information.
